Gwen excitedly took her sister’s hand, guiding her towards the Park. She always loved that place, with all its nature and sharing it with Ava was something she had been wanting to do for a while.
“So, what would you like to do around here?” She asked Ava with a smile, almost bouncing as she held the girl’s hand.
Ava squeezed her sister’s hand, glad to be going out with her today. She seemed excited to show her sister yet another spot in New York that they could share, and Ava was excited to see it. The park was beautiful, and Ava was glad they could share this day together.
“Oh, I don’t know,” Ava said quickly, shrugging a bit. “I mean, I’ve never been here. So, whatever you do in a park,” she said with a small smile, glad to see her sister so happy.
Gwen smiled excited as she took her sister’s hand to guide her through the streets of New York and take them to buy some Christmas decoration. This was going to be Ava’s first Christmas and Gwen only hoped to make it the best she could for the girl who changed her life, even if she didn’t know about that. But maybe this would be a way of showing it.
She bounced as she spotted the store, pointing at it.
“Theere!” She pulled Ava along, entering the place. “They have /all/ kinds of decorations here!” She said happily, taking her sister through the corridors.
As Ava took her sister’s hand, she couldn’t help but notice how excited the girl was to show her how to decorate for Christmas. It had never been her favorite holiday, honestly, but who could blame her? She never had anyone to celebrate with, not until now. Hopefully, Gwen could cheer her up this Christmas, and show her how to truly celebrate the holidays.
Smiling, she followed her sister into the store and looked around. “I…I’ve never done this before,” she said shakily, looking over to her sister. “I mean, what even do you put on a tree? Ornaments, and what else?” she asked, looking along the aisles and aisles of Christmas decorations. Honestly, it was a bit overwhelming. But surely she would get the hang of it soon.
Gwen narrowed her eyes, smiling a little as she looked at her sister.
“Really?!” She bounced a bit, approaching the older girl. “I’m in!” She didn’t even know what she was getting herself into, but just the thought of leaving that horrible place made her eyes shine.
“But if we leave…w-where can we go?” She asked, frowning a little, her eyes tearing up when she realized she couldn’t go back home or they’d send her back to that place.
“Really. I’ve got to get out of here, I’ve been here for far too long,” Ava said, sighing a bit. But she was glad that her sister seemed to like that idea. It definitely would be easier to get out with someone else helping her.
“We’ll figure something out, I promise. I mean, we could just get our own place. It would be better than this place, for sure,” she said, shrugging a bit. She hadn’t really thought of what she would do when she got out, she was so focused on leaving. “I mean, I don’t really have a home. I never have. Surely we can make one of our own,” she said with a soft smile.
”Okay…” The child replied, honestly scared and concerned about her older sister. Maybe Ava acted badly with her before, but deep down they were all the same. Two scared little children, abandoned in an asylum by their own parents.
“I don’t know what happens…It’a like I go blank for a few time and then…bad things happen. ” She murmured, softly, swallowing.
“Mama said I need to get treated for that…and that’s why I ended up here…”
Ava could tell the little girl was scared, but she didn’t know what to do about that. It was her fault, she knew that. But now she wanted to protect this little girl, at all costs. “It’s going to be okay, sis,” Ava said, smiling down at the little girl in front of her.
“I…I don’t think you’ll want to get treated here, kid. They’re horrible,” Ava said, shuddering a bit. “But maybe we can get out. Together. I’ve been working on a plan for a while, actually,” Ava said with a nod. She wanted to get out of this hellhole, and maybe Gwen could help her with that.
ooc; so, I know people are still around, and I’d kinda like to start roleplaying as Ava again. Anyone up to making a plot or something?

Sometimes I’m envious. {♥}
Never thought this day would come….
Gwen still didn’t know what had happened to her. The little blonde trembled, confused as she turned her head to her sister.
“I…think so. But my face…it burns.” She said in a low, weak tone. Gwen had /never/ been hit by her parents and now, that lady she had never seen during her whole short life would do it. It was just…unfair.“Thanks for helping me…” She added, staring at the redhead’s eyes. She went a little closer, putting one of her hands on the other’s face.
“Did I…hurt you?” She asked.
Ava could see her little sister trembling and wanted to hold her, take her into her arms and apologize for the nurse’s behavior. But she felt like that was completely out of place, that her sister wouldn’t like that too much. “It’s no problem. I know I would’ve liked for someone to stand up for me like that when I got here,” she said softly, remembering the horrible days before she knew what to do to avoid the punishment.
Surprised by her sister’s hand on her cheek, she just stared at the little blonde girl before her. Was she to tell the truth? Because it did sting, just a little bit. Nodding, she said, “Just a little bit. But I can take it. I’m a big girl.”
